Dataminr SKO 2025 — Momentum

Overview:
Led the creative direction and full design execution for Momentum, Dataminr’s 2025 Sales Kickoff in Nashville. The concept drew on Nashville’s energetic music culture and fluorescent-light nightlife, translating that vibe into a visual identity defined by vivid colors, kinetic lighting references, and musical rhythms.

Creative approach:
Started by breaking down the theme into core conceptual components—energy, progression, rhythm, and collective movement. From there, I explored how Nashville’s electric, music-driven culture could become a metaphor for this idea of forward acceleration. Created a visual system that captured Nashville’s lively, electric spirit—bright palettes, layered neon-like gradients, and rhythmic graphic treatments that referenced stage lights and gig culture. Typography and motion were designed to feel syncopated and alive, echoing the city’s musical momentum.

Key deliverables:

  • Event logo and identity system

  • Stage visuals and lighting-forward motion assets

  • Presentation templates, social teasers, and digital content

  • Art direction for on-site experience design and key signage to ensure visual cohesion across physical and digital touchpoints

Impact:
Delivered a high-energy, cohesive visual system that amplified the event’s emotional tone, energized attendees, and set a dynamic, music-forward tone for the year—anchoring Momentum as a memorable cultural moment for the company.
