Overview:
Explored how AI can enhance and accelerate the brand development process through a conceptual project for Nova Balm, a fictional herbal remedy for aches and pains. This experiment examined the intersection of technology and design, investigating how AI can inform visual identity, messaging, and creative strategy from concept to execution.

Creative Approach:
Leveraged AI to generate visual directions, naming options, and brand narratives, then refined and integrated them into a cohesive design system. The project explored how human creativity and AI insights can complement each other, resulting in a thoughtful, innovative approach to brand building.

Impact:
Demonstrated the potential for AI-driven experimentation to accelerate ideation, expand creative possibilities, and inform strategic design decisions while maintaining a human-centered perspective.

Naming: Using AI to generate evocative names, I landed on Nova Balm, a name that suggests renewal, brightness, and healing.

  • Logo Design: I created a visual identity for Nova Balm, combining natural forms with a modern look to feel both trusted and fresh.

  • Campaign Ideation & Mockups: AI helped me brainstorm campaign concepts, draft copy, and visualize packaging and ad placements through quick iterations and mockups.

    This exploration wasn’t about replacing the creative process, but about using AI as a partner to unlock speed, variety, and unexpected directions.

  • Who they are: Millennials and Gen Z professionals who live active lifestyles and value wellness, self-care, and natural remedies.

  • Needs: A portable, effective way to relieve aches and pains without relying on harsh chemicals.

  • Mindset: They want to feel empowered, not limited by pain—and they care about products with authenticity and heritage.

The Value Proposition

Nova Balm offers fast, natural relief for everyday aches—rooted
in herbal tradition, packaged for modern life. Unlike mainstream competitors, it positions pain relief as part of self-care and joyful
living, not just a medical fix.
