Pinterest GSC — Internal Event Branding
Role: Lead Designer (under Art Director Felicia Neuhof)
Focus: Experiential branding, environmental design, motion graphics
Overview:
Developed the full visual identity and experience design for Pinterest’s internal event, GSC — a celebration of creativity and collaboration across the company. The concept centered on the iconic rounded rectangle of a Pin, used as a dynamic shape language to unify all event touchpoints.
Creative Approach:
Built the system around playful interaction and movement, reflecting the exploratory spirit of Pinterest. Designed a vibrant, uplifting visual language where typography interacts with pin shapes — letters swing, overlap, and connect to evoke the joy of creative discovery.
Key Deliverables:
Animated directional screens to guide attendees, adding energy and delight to wayfinding moments.
Comprehensive environmental graphics throughout the venue, balancing bold color with human warmth.
Poster wall installation featuring inspiring text behind a live poet, designed to double as take-home art prints.
“Pingo” (Pinterest Bingo) — an interactive game concept with a tagline “Dreams begin with Pins” to encourage participation and connection.
Impact:
Created a cohesive, emotionally resonant event identity that turned an internal conference into a memorable brand experience — reinforcing Pinterest’s mission to inspire creativity through play and connection.
